Your PlateToVIN subscription grants you commercial access to our comprehensive API platform. Depending on your selected plan tier, you'll receive complimentary access to additional services including advanced VIN decoding, vehicle imagery, and upcoming premium features.

What are the costs for license plate lookups?

Each license plate lookup is priced at $0.05. To optimize your costs, we cache lookup results for seven days—repeated queries for the same license plate during this period incur no additional charges. After the seven-day cache period expires, a fresh lookup will be performed and billed accordingly. Premium subscription tiers offer reduced per-lookup pricing.

How are license plate lookups billed?

License plate lookup charges are automatically deducted from your account balance. You can fund your account through manual deposits or by activating our auto-deposit feature, which automatically replenishes your balance when it drops below your specified threshold.
